Privacy Policy

Continuo ("we," "us") is a work companion for field professionals. This policy explains what information the app and this website collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. We built Continuo so your data stays private and under your control.

Information you provide

When you join the waitlist, we collect the details you submit (such as name, work email, role, industry, and your organizational challenges) to contact you and shape the product. When you use the app, you provide the work information you choose to capture and organize.

Information from connected services

Connecting a mailbox or calendar is optional. Continuo works without it. If you do connect one, here is exactly what we ask for and what we do with it.

If you connect Google

• Gmail (gmail.readonly). Read-only access to your messages. We read message content to find follow-ups you promised, spot replies you are waiting on, and surface what needs your attention. Continuo cannot send, delete, or change anything in your mailbox.
• Calendar (calendar.events). Read and write access to your calendar events. Reading is for meeting prep and planning your field day. Writing is so you can create an event from something you captured, which only happens when you ask for it.
• Signing in with Google (openid, email, profile). Your name, email address, and profile picture, so we know who you are. Nothing else.

If you connect Microsoft or Outlook

• Mail (Mail.Read) and Calendar (Calendars.ReadWrite), used for the same things and in the same way as above.

You can disconnect either service at any time from Settings in the app.

Where your email content goes

This is the part most policies leave vague, so we would rather be specific.

To work out which messages need a follow-up, Continuo sends message content to Anthropic's API, which is the AI service we use. That happens for both Gmail and Outlook. Two things are true about it:

• It is redacted first. Every message passes through patient-identifier redaction at a single point when it is fetched, before anything else in Continuo sees it, including the AI, stored records, and drafts.
• It is not used to train any AI model. Not ours, not Anthropic's.

Google user data and the Limited Use requirements

Continuo's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

In plain terms, that means we use Google data only to provide and improve the features described above, we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and no human at Continuo reads your mail except in the narrow cases that policy allows, such as with your explicit permission or where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it, and how to remove it

Information from a connected mailbox or calendar is kept for as long as your account exists, so that your account history stays intact. There is no automatic expiry, because a follow-up you promised eight months ago is exactly the kind of thing Continuo is for.

You have two ways to remove it. Disconnecting a service in Settings stops all further access and removes the stored connection. Deleting your account, from Settings in the app or by emailing us, permanently removes everything we hold for you, including saved email conversations, calendar data, accounts, contacts, tasks, notes, and the connection tokens themselves. Deletion is not reversible and we do not keep a shadow copy.

How we use information

• To provide and improve Continuo and organize your work.
• To contact you about early access and product updates (you can unsubscribe).
• To understand who Continuo serves so we can build the right thing.

How your data is handled

Each person's data is private and separated from other users'. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Your data is not used to train foundation models by our AI provider. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

You can request access to, export of, or deletion of your data, and you can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Contact hello@mycontinuo.app.

Do not enter PHI

Continuo is not a medical record system and is not intended to store Protected Health Information (PHI). Please do not enter patient identifiers.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product develops. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
